Maybe the ghost of PGT is still around, since his statue used to not be too far away

Any description of the perps?
Humans, wearing clothing of some sorts. Possibly hoodies and saggy jeans.

They pull the trigger so casually - life means nothing to these people. But who's failed them?

In all of these local reporting on crime, in NOLA and BR, you know what’s always missing?

NONE of them will put any blame or give any criticism to the politicians or week judges who have made all of this possible. You hear them lay the blame on property owners for not having enough security cameras, or the gates not being closed, or whatever, but you never hear them place any blame on liberal politicians and judges who’ve exacerbated every single bit of this, and that is exactly who should be held to the fire because that’s what they are paid to do, but crickets.

Funny huh?

Meanwhile, the liberal pieces of shite of this city are busy losing their mushy minds over Chic Fil A being built on Tulane and Carrollton. Gots to have your priorities, ya dig?

What kind of complex doesn't allow guests?

Defunding the police puts every major city on a fast track to install surveillance cameras everywhere, like China.

Lots of questions here. First, what the actual frick is an assault rifle? How is this person qualified to recognize the sound of said assault rifle as opposed to other firearms? I thought that black lives matter. Where are they? What does one expect to happen when one insults, sues, blames, defunds and just generally shits on the police at every turn? Why does this community expect others to take care of their problem? Why is it still allowed to glorify this culture and activity in song and in film? Why of all the people to turn to for help do they turn to this goofy reporter?

It's going to take martial law for a generation to fix this.

I think someone ought to impersonate a city official and walk around the area asking first some simple introductory questions and then focusing on "where are the statues that are causing this crap?" Act real serious with the questioning and get irritated when someone doesn't admit they know where the statues are.
