I spent a lot of time on the Gaming Board once upon a time. But I don't think a lot of the guys I knew there would be the types to play Pokemon Go.

do you have any parks near your house? if so, go to those

the 2 parks near my house are all of a sudden packed with hordes of teenagers and early 20 somethings walking around while staring at their phones

I love that these kids are now actually getting out and exploring their town, I just wish they would look up from their phone while doing it

No, it is for reasons like this that I live in the country.

maybe trip them or something... Maybe someone can create a virus that makes all of their phones crash. They'd all look up and see the world, it'd be similar to the end of "The Giver".

Some of you guys sound like miserable people on here sometimes. This maybe a stupid trend, but at least it is getting some kids excited to get up and go run around outside like we all used to do as kids.....

Yes they maybe still glued to a phone or screen, but at least they are up and moving instead of having their asses glued to the couch.

The speed of the Internet is astonishing to me. I didn't even know what PokeGo was on Monday and by Tuesday every other person I see is running around looking at their phone.

It's unique in that its success is so visible - Pokemon Go might be the first video game in history that you can actually see people walking around playing it. It's possible that Candy Crush had the same kind of immediate success, but it was all people sitting on their couches where no one could see them.

Only bawws who like guns and truck nuts on my Facebook feed. Better make sure I insulate myself from anyone who has different interests than I do.

Maybe the awkward one that plans on shooting up a school, but realizes that outside of his house and thoughts there are people who share the same interest and that life isn't so bad after all.
