It is illegal for those dump trucks with the “construction vehicle, do not follow” sign on the back to speed, yet they do.

That happens at about a 1:100 rate in the BR "metro" area. There needs to be a mandated route around BR for big rigs driving through AND they need to pass and ENFORCE a law keeping them out of the left lane when in the area. I say enforce because they obviously don't do it on the basin bridge.

The 18 wheelers passing actually creates traffic while they sit in the passing lane trying to get back over while everybody just keeps flying by not letting him over. Because he shouldn’t have passed someone going 60 mph anyway

There’s a very noticeable difference between the highways here and Europe. In France people actually used the left lane for its intended purpose. Here fricks just camp out there.

They don't frick around with this in Germany. If you're not actively passing, ticket. If you pass, but you do the "well I'm just going to pass this other car in a second" when you have room to get over...no matter for how long...ticket. Basically, if you have a car behind you and you have even a small space to safely get over, you better get the frick over.
And the tickets are expensive as all hell.
I never used to really get worked up over left lane jackasses until I saw how efficient a highway system can actually work if people pay attention, police enforce the laws, and the general public aren't self-absorbed pieces of shite.
