According to Board Chair Kimberly Kline, the Board feels the change is needed after seeing a negative trend with rehabilitation for treatment with sex offenders. According to a draft sent to 11 News from the Board, it would change the term of ‘sex offender’ to ‘those who have been sexually abusive’.

"Sexually abusive" probably sounds worse than "sex offender".

“Believes” based on what? Complex studies? Extensive research?
I don’t think sex offenders give a rats dick what they are called, they have an addiction they cannot be cured other than putting a bullet in their head.
Interesting how they are focusing on the criminals and not the victims.

We live a a pretty affluent area, and had one of these pedos move in without notice. One of the neighbors figured it out and let us know.
I called the sheriff about it, thinking there was an obligation to let neighbors know. Instead, I got a tongue lashing. He warned us that we could get in trouble if we harassed this freak.
I asked the sheriff if he would worry that a school bus stop was directly across the street, if that seemed like a problem? Hem haw hem haw. Did it bother him the family that lived there before was a great family, and kids trick or treated there? Hem haw hem haw
I called the school district, and they had a different tune, thankfully. They moved the bus stop immediately. Our neighborhood got the word out about the freak.
This freak was a two time offender. How is it possible to be a 2 time offender, convicted of crimes involving 12-13 year olds and crossing state lines, and not be behind bars? To add to the fun, he had a 20 year old transitioning tranny living with him.
Thankfully they moved after only a year or so.
