I've never seen this before in my life. Just constant downpour since 5am this morning. Youngsville is completely fricked.

It has been raining since Friday morning in Baton Rouge.
It is finally starting to slack off a little.

The rain yesterday was harder in the morning and then eased off but still had more flooding impact than today. Today has just been more constant

I hear ya. I live off E. Broussard Rd between 92 and Vincent. Left my house to run a errand this morning at 9:00am. Haven't made it back yet. Literally all roads to my neighborhood are underwater. Neighborhood still doing fine though.

It's unbelievable. Prayers sent to my BR and Livingston neighbors through all of this.

Sawgrass
What is the best way in/out?
About to boat across E broussard/kaliste bridge. Is E. Broussard flooded from our saviors church to saw grass or Edith?

I was on 92 all the way to Maurice earlier. Just had water on the bridge in Maurice. I haven't seen any crazy water on the road on e Broussard except by the light on kaliste saloom.

"What has happened down here is the winds have changed
Clouds roll in from the north and it started to rain
Rained real hard and it rained for a real long time
Six feet of water in the streets of Evangeline"

The thing most mindblowing about this to me is that no one even came close to predicting the severity of this. Not anyone I've seen.
Although, peej once again anti-predicted this, so there is that.

I'm absolutely terrified to go back to my apartment in Lafayette and see the type of damage this has done. Praying hard.
