It’s true

The saddest thing is a lot of these guys go bald in their late 20s and early 30s from all the gay porn they watch in their 20s

20-30 what will your life be

31-100 deal with what you got
As far as being useful and being paid well for it, I earned more in the last ten years of my career before retiring than all of the 40 work years before then. My last year working I earned more than any other year before it.

From the time I was 31, I worked for 11 different companies, increasing my responsibilities over time from working as a small remodeling contractor, to regional, then national and finally, international responsibility for sales of defense & space strategic optoelectronics products, as well as for proximity sensing and hyperspectral sensor products for robotics and medical devices for a Forbes 100 company.

31 is nothing. The education and skills you develop are limited only by your own personal drive and motivation to keep moving forward.

Even now I'm building several new businesses to take advantage of the niche area of knowledge I have in C5ISR threat assessment, tracking, targeting and situational awareness communication and systems as well as in biomedical research systems.

Always keep moving toward goals and then make new goals.

If nothing else is said in this thread, it was all rounded up in this sentence here. This is the gem.

Insane thinking

I got divorced at 34. Finished residency and Ran through 100 girls over a couple of years and decided I’d never marry again

36 I asked the love of my life to marry me

39 just had our first child.

Also just in my 30s I’ve moved to 3 different cities (currently in Boston) and we’re likely headed to New York after my wife finishes her residency in a year

I never thought I’d end up on the northeast but here I am and I’m loving it

No idea what my 40s have in store

Life begins truly when you have children.

Everything before that is schooling for the develop of that next generation and legacy.

The older you get the clearer your true priorities are. You spend less time and money on things that really don't matter.

I would say that I kinda agree. It’s tough to overcome bad decisions in your 20s……but if you keep making them in your 30s you’re really screwed

Or grow with your wife and raise a family.

My 20s were a blur of fun, awful decisions, and ultimately a waste of my youth and potential. Life has been infinitely better every single day since my first kid was born. I might try to talk my wife into a few more.
