Toyota is so far behind its pathetic. Heavy arse truck with an interior that will shoot you back in time. The fact that they don't have a diesel in today's market is mid blowing.

Tundra looks like it was invented in the Stone Age, granted it will probably run till the next one.

I love my 2016 Tundra but yeah it’s old school and if I was in the market now I’d probably buy a Ram or Ford. I’m anxious to see the next model Tundra but then I wonder if there ever will be a new model. Maybe 2021. Maybe 2031.

I cross shopped the new Ram with the new Silverado, and could not make a good case as to why anyone would pick the Chevy out of the two. The Ram is the nicer truck in just about every way.

GM is trash. All American made cars are trash but GM might be the worst

The next generation mules have been on the road all year. Lots of speculative info re powertrain and rear suspension.

New truck in 2021 with twin turbos coming.

Nissan exiting the diesel market. There are only so many to be sold. Toyota doesn't do gimmicky stuff just to try to generate buzz.

Been a GM guy for many years, but they fricked up the front of their trucks in 18/19 so bad, I can’t get past it. Hope they get off that “trying to look like a Ford” thing and fix the front of the truck. The tailgate is gimmicky IMO. The step
Bumper was fine as is. Live the interior of my 17 Silverado. Wonder if the Rams interior will last?

I agree with the looks. I drive the GMC 2500 so overall, the outside and inside of mine hasn't changed. I didn't really care for the new restyle.

For work, I drove the previous version of the Dodge ram 1500. It looked great. My problem was after a year of trips traveling for work, lots of things started to make what I would call excessive noise in the cabin.

They definitely should. I’ve had a 19’ Ram Limited for about 3 months now. Not sure how long term reliability will be, but out of the box it’s the best truck I’ve ever owned.

Funny how these days we are worried about the interior of a truck as opposed to what its towing/payload capacity is.

I’m a big Chevy guy, but I’ve always thought their interior sucked. Same for the camaro

As a Toyota truck owner, we have no business being in here talking about interiors.

We're still living in 2007.

Watch the commercials. It's always about looks, gadgets, etc. They never talk about reliability, well, cause they can't.

Apparently most buyers buy on look appeal alone. I guess that works in today's buying world.

They need to change the outside and fire who ever designed the outside of the current ones.

Not a big fan of the GM interiors. They just seems a little cheap compared to Ford’s.

Because most pickup truck drivers will never utilize the full towing and payload capacities. Those metrics are for bragging rights, but every half ton available offers more than enough towing and payload for their owners.

ETA: And as long as trucks continue to be status symbols for blue collar industries, they’ll continue to be shopped on features and looks. Thank Ford for starting that with the King Ranch.

I rarely tow anything with my truck but I use the bed all the time.

Because they have cranked up the tow ratings far beyond what any sane person would normally run behind a half ton.

Times have changed. Trucks have become >$50K luxury vehicles rather than utility equipment used to haul shite as they were originally intended.
