I guess if you have a multimillion dollar home and you wall off the peasants it's understandable, but to live in an HOA with a home under half-a-mil... goofy.

Take that half-a-mil buy lots of land in the county and build a house. Pee off your back porch or sit on your deck naked and drink whiskey with your old lady. You'll thank me later when no one threatens to fine you $100 a day for parking your truck 20 feet away from where you parked it the previous day.

frick that. Grew up in “the country”, having to drive 20 miles to get to a grocery store gets old. Everything is inconvenient when you live out there. I’m way too social for that bullshite.

Buy a minibike and ride it back and forth to the closest place you can park your truck.

Also, why will your truck not fit? Is it a dually and your parking spot is Prius sized? Is it too long? Does it hang out in the drive? Lift kit? Oversized tires? Poor turning radius?

Obviously, by your standards I’m not. Then again I don’t have some lady threatening to fine me for parking my truck across the street either, so there is that.

Why anyone would by their own free will sign up and pay good money to live in a place that tells you what you can and cannot do with your home property is insane to me. You are getting exactly what you deserve IMO.

You could be smart enough to live somewhere that you don feel the need for an HOA.

there's no HOA in my neighborhood but it's very easy to see why people would want to live in one.

Use your big truck to tear down the carport cover and haul it off, then start parking in the approved spot.

Why did you get a truck that wouldn't fit in your own garage?
Or why did you buy a townhouse with a garage that is too small for your vehicle?
Either case, you're not too bright

My HOA made me move my boat. Had it in my driveway for 4 years and then all of a sudden it became a problem. But hey, I was breaking the rules so I moved it. Most of the homes in our neighborhood are breaking rules in some fashion. Could go make a stink about every other trailer, side by side or basketball goal in the driveways but I’m not that guy. My rec would be to buddy up and kiss arse to the HOA board and they let shite slide

I have considered remodeling but the HOA won’t allow it. My previous truck fit under my carport
