Is there any way to be sure that’s the ISS or do we just have to take NASA’s word for it?

Tonight was cool. Pretty much the only ‘star’ visible as it was first apparent, but then as it progressed other stars began to appear. At least in BR.

funny you asked that...

The NASA website that predicts (100% perfectly) the worldwide viewing opportunities of the ISS is absolute proof of a globe Earth. The Flat Earthers, who think the space program is a hoax, need not look beyond this to be shown they are wrong.

The only way to accomplish what NASA does with this, without an ISS in orbit, would be to:
- have an aircraft exactly matching the speed and shape (silhouette) of the ISS, but much lower altitude
- flying 24/7/365
- have a fleet of these (or refuel in some clandestine Pacific location, constantly)

No other phenomenon would work, to reproduce what the flyover website predicts, and gets right 100% of the time!

If they can use projection to make people believe in the moon they could easily fake the iss.

Is the projection screen a hemispherical "dome" or a fleet of aircraft towing a cloth of some sort? Or something else?

It's sad that this actually has to be explained to people.
