Egypt doesn’t want to take in the Gaza residents and doesn’t want to be involved. I don’t blame them. Egypt probably secretly hopes Israel wipes that entire area off the map so they can stop dealing with the Gaza bullshite.
I have always felt the Middle East views the Palestinians as we view the homeless in America. They provide nothing to society, are a massive nuisance and drain on resources, nobody WANTS them, but what the hell are we supposed to do with them?

Could be, or it could be a methodical decapitation of Iran's leadership, particularly the IRGC/Quds Force, similar to what they did after the Munich massacre. They wouldn't even have to put boots on the ground. The war in Ukraine has shown what drones can do on the front lines. Israel could take it to another level with ultra long range drones and facial recognition technology.
