Yes, I know. Another fun fact, the Palestinians as a whole were never offered this option. And not all Arab Israelis are so happy with their second class citizenship. You should talk to some and ask them. I have.

That's like saying Mexican or Canadian citizens aren't given the option to become Americans.
If they (Palestinians) had wanted to become Israelis the PLO would have ended a long time ago and Israel could have just annexed the Gaza strip and ended this conflict decades ago.
