The idea in this case is Israel is attacking to destroy Iran's capability to build nukes before they have any.

Iran was already threatening to hit us somewhere if we didn’t back down to their nuclear demands. We have been evacuating families from various places.

Iran will launch some missiles and a few of those weird balloon things at Israel. The Iron Dome will block 95% to them it will calm until 6 months from now when the same thing happens again.
