Have you been to Israel? Do you have family that served in the IDF? I have dual-citizen family members that have.
If you know anything about the border situation there you know it's heavily patrolled and there's lots of tech, alerting, sensors, and even automated machine guns that shoot things that move. It's the closest thing we have to NK"s DMZ.
Yet, somehow these dummies figured out how to breach it in 15 places and no only breach it but were able to go deep into Israel, kidnap people, and get them BACK across the border?
Think about how crazy that is.

Cool, when do we get one considering that we paid for it?

No. (Was on the fence about going in a couple weeks, but I am not on the fence any longer

Yep. Maybe you can give them some tips since all the experts we know are still looking into what breaches happened. They would love your insight.
Since you know, what was happening at the crossings that allowed the breaches to happen? Where were the armed guards not at post?

They've thought of everything if they're prepared for giant cats.

They also have water cannons

Exactly. Citizens of Israel know there's something fricky going on about this. Bibi is done even though it smells like a setup.

Is this the Star Wars thing the media made fun of Reagan for?

Exactly.
Exactly what?
You have people on the inside so you know why people weren't at their post. It is an inherent failure of the system, but it is know.
I know you can't google the answer so you don't have it, but wht they weren't at their post has been answered.

You think Iran did that?
Has that even been officially confirmed in any way or just internet fodder?
The electronic wall defenses were breached by explosives dropped by drones and good old-fashioned wire cutting, at least that is how I have seen it reported. There has been no suggestion of some sort of off-site hack that I have read.

I saw a video where they had a big Caterpillar articulated front-end loader ripping up fence also. I also some long tube looking things on some of those rats backpacks. Maybe Bangalores ?

Maybe the vaunted Israeli Defense Force just isnt what it used to be. Or maybe Hamas isn’t as backwards as we’d all like to believe.

Often the best way to subvert high-tech defenses is with low-tech solutions, something people find out when they don't listen to Lao Tzu. Outside of the fence breaching another excellent example of this is how they breached the Iron Dome, one of if not the most sophisticated air defense systems in the world. The Iron Dome works very well against high-end missiles but was overwhelmed by 100s of low-tech "homemade" dumb missiles.

Then you might be aware that the timing coincided with the end of the seven days of Sukkot and the beginning of Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah. This meant the Israeli outposts were manned at only a skeletal level.
I am not suggesting Hamas did not have help in the planning of the operation but the timing and use of proper low-tech attacks degraded the ability of the IDF to respond in their planned fashion.

Iran learned their lesson. They don't want to get into cyber games with Israel.
Are you one of those people who believe Israel could defeat Iran in a protracted war without the help of the US?

Well that should be fun to run from when Iran hacks it.
Unless it’s powered by body odor and goat fricking, Iran isn't doing shite to it.
