Don't think they shadow ban on TD. At least not that I know of. I know it happens on reddit. With a shadow ban as far as you know it looks like you are posting, but no one else can see your posts. For a normal ban it just doesn't let you post. If no one ever replies to you then you might be shadow banned. Or you just really suck.

I’d never heard of it before but, I have to be honest, it sounds kind of hilarious.

It’s hard to have a ton of sympathy for someone who acted like a dick and ended up posting a week’s worth of crap no one else will ever read.
