My wife has a Bachelors degree in nursing, but she lets me think I run shite. So yeah, highly intelligent

My wife is brilliant. Quite honestly, I think a few more IQ points and she would have been autistic. She struggles at interpersonal communication as a result.
We have one Son who is an engineering student at UF. He’s smarter than his mother.

That said, she's definitely smart. She breezed through a fairly prestigious out of state law school, then was able to pass the Louisiana bar exam in one go.
Now, I'm an engineer, so there are things that seem obvious to me that she can't visualize at all. It's a clear right brain/left brain thing.

She is highly educated, even within the ranks of surgeons.
As far as simple raw intelligence she is obviously quite smart BUT there is a level of intelligence you may be pointing to that she lacks, and the VAST majority of people lack. Like most people even extremely intelligent people she still thinks within a framework. The truly supra-intelligent people aren't constrained by any framework, I have only known two such people in my life.
