You’re grown. Just tell your wife multiple things you’d like in the months leading up to Christmas like everyone else.

I banned all gifts in my house 3 years ago and Christmas has been so much more enjoyable. The first year was an adjustment for the kids, but at this point its what they know.

I can see no presents for adults...but for the kids? Not even small gifts?
If God ever blesses me with a child I will make sure they have a great Christmas every year. Won’t spoil them rotten....but will still make it very special for them. What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than doing it for your child.
