Around friends in a casual setting it's perfectly fine. But it's not a term I throw around in any other setting.

Nope, perfectly acceptable.
I mean, you have to earn that title.
Its also one of the things I respect about the whites, they really dont discriminate. They hate their own more than they even dislike other races.

True white trash has a level of pride in being white trash.
There are plenty of poor white people who are far from trash.

Must be a “local to you” thing. What I consider white trash is about half of the demographic in my area. It doesn’t bother anyone to be called that. As someone said, many take pride in it and wear it as a badge of honor.

I don't get upset when I hear white people say it, but it pains me deeply when I hear a black person refer to my people with that slur.
