Broome is the best recruiting tool the St. George effort has to make their dreams a reality.

She isn't doing a damn thing to address their concerns and has only attacked them and race baited them. Even when Kip opposed St. George, he wasn't a complete dumbass and a dipshit about it and fought it smartly and quietly.

If and when St. George does happen, Broome will be to blame and Baton Rouge should run her out of town for that.

No, it has already been defined by her ineptitude and ignorance. She has no idea how to run a popsicle stand much less a mid sized city and parish.

I love the optimism. As if it's even slightly possible that Mayor Race Bait has not already set course for MaxFail.

She's going to go down as the worst thing to ever happen to Baton Rouge.

Currently:

BR is run by Broome
Nola is run by Landrieu
Lousiana is run by Edwards.

I honestly don't know if we'll make it out this alive

She's pissing off a lot of people and will do a lot to make sure not enough white people vote for her next time especially given that BR is still like 51-52% white.

Nola is run by Landrieu

Yeah, you don't have good enough demographics to fix that. Nola is screwed.

Aberration and a gigantic mistake by butthurt and easily fooled bible thumpers pissed at Vitter that refused to acknowledge JBE's liberal tax and spend voting record in the statehouse.

He's only governed as the tax and spend liberal democrat that his voting record said he was and made fools of the republicans he promised he would be a conservative blue dog democrat as Governor.

JBE is a mistake and an accident that will be easily corrected in a couple years.

Is St. George even financially viable after the incoporations? Everyone keeps throwing st. George around but what tax base does the area have other than hogher income residents?

Let's face it...she's Obama in a dress! Like him, she was elected because of her race and like him, she'll leave office in ten times worse shape than she found it!

I'm sad to say that I agree. Nothing she has said or done thus far inspires any confidence that she will do anything other than give blacks free reign to riot and destroy. I don't care if they want to protest, if they do it peacefully and leave innocent citizens and their property alone. If Broome follows the leads of the mayors of Ferguson, Berkeley, and Baltimore, and lets protesters trash the city, it should be a death blow to any chance of reelection and a guarantee that she will never have the trust or support of white voters in EBR parish.

White democrats voted in SWB. Even some that vote republican nationally, vote Dem here. It is odd, but many older, upper class whites were open supporters of Trump and Broome. I also think the presidential election was so contentious no one was even paying attention to the local candidates until a month before the election. I don't see that being the case in 4 years. Broome will have dirt on her and real weakness to attack.

A more appealing Republican candidate can still win the parish IMO. You almost want Broome to screw it up so bad that even many progressives and socially conservative blacks and Asians vote republican in 4 years.
