TrueCar.com It will give you the spot on price. Since it is a 2015 I would expect a deep discount.

Truecar is pretty useless IMO. It's not hard to beat their price on most every vehicle I've looked at buying.

I'm ok with an 15 btw as I keep my trucks/cars at least 10 yrs, but if I could get a 16 with those options for close to this price, of course I'd opt for a 16.

'16's can be had for $10-12k off MSRP. That is not a good price on '15.

BTW, there are a bunch of ticky tack issues, recalls, body panel alignments, etc on the '15 (first year production of aluminum body) that are fixed for '16. '16 also gets SYNC3 vs '15 My Ford Touch. I believe the MFT is smaller screen too.

Hope the 2017 F-250s don't have issues like that.

Years ago on a used 1 yr old truck the interest rate through neighbors credit union through a dealer f&i was 5.9%. I went directly to neighbors on the same day and got 1.9%

That's because years ago you could back up the buy rate a lot more than now a days... I think in Louisiana they can still raise your buy rate 2 points max I think.. May be 4 points but I think it's only 2 points.. I'm saying if the bank approved you at 2.9% financing they can raise you to 4.9% and say that's all we can get approved for and they pocket the difference. Always ask for them to show you your buy rate of you finance through the dealership. They are required to show off you ask, if they don't, then walk away. One other thing, not only can you negotiate you extended warranty but you can also negotiate GAP if you purchase that as well..

I did gap and esp through neighbors.
The lady was straight forward with the price.
I asked the dealer f&i for a price it was $500 more for similar coverage on the esp and $200 more for gap than neighbors.
Best part is once I was originally approved with neighbors the lady called the person who did the loan to verify my credit score.
That way I was not hit with two credit checks on my credit score.
i like to keep a good credit score just incase one rainy day I would need it.

If he has come down that much, you can get it at the 28,500 or very close.

You can beat that price with a 2016. Don't pay that or very close to it for a 2015.

Well I went over there expecting them to come down a little. Internet guy went & got his manager. Manager explained that they've come off all they can and brought me their "invoice" and said he would be losing holdback as well and that they just can't lose anymore on that truck. I explained that it was a 2015, so in a few months, basically a 2 yr old truck. He said that's the best he could do. I walked out and haven't heard anything back.

Where can I get a 2016 F15O XLT with 2.7 V6 Ecoboost and the 302a package for $30k? Everywhere I've been looking the base model XLT is like $30k... Figured a top of the line XLt for about $30k was good.

Courtesy ford in Breaux bridge. Got my last few Fords from them. I'd look 'em up and see what they can do.

If it's a 2015 stick with about $28 or $28.5K. They will take it.

Never negotiate based upon MSRP.

They wouldn't take it. Wouldn't budge off $30,700 at all. I wasn't negotiating off of MSRP either. I was negotiating off of the advertised price that was $33k something.

I was pissed at first, but now I see that I can get a 2016 same options for about the same price. Definitely not much more. They should have taken my final offer of $29k.

The dealer going below $30K is very, very slim. From what information that you gave, Kelley Blue Book worth is around $30,900.

Fair point, just seems dumb to pay that for a 2015, when I can have a 2016 for maybe $1000-$1500 more.

No idea. I'm in the market for an XLT. Ford is offering rebates and incentives though that are about $10-$12k off sticker. Not sure if Lariat is a model they're offering incentives on. Check the dealerships in Houston though. Usually much better prices than La.

I get a new F150 every two years. I find the dealers in Texas have better packages and better prices.
