Best Lemon and chocolate meringue pies on the freaking planet. But they can’t be shipped, and apparently there’s no damn way to get in them without driving to freaking Alexandria. since I don’t go to North Louisiana very often I bet I haven’t had one of these delicious mouth watering pies in years. Is there anyway to get one without driving there? Do they sell them in Lafayette or Opelousas anywhere?

Try their Pecan Pie if you never have before.

I personally find them to be overrated. Mediocre at best. Haven't been legit since the old man died. Their ham sandwich is still pretty good though.

If you move to Lecompte then you won't have to drive to Lecompte to get pies. You can just drive to Leas.

when did the old man die? I have a buddy that just bought a hunting camp up that way so i am bringing pies when he invites me to hunt with him this Fall. I have almost veered off on way to Austin twice already but it’s two hour detour.

The pecan pie is good but not like The meringues. My wife got recipe for Strawns Strawberry pie, but Leas Meringues is too hard

I'm headed to Shrevesdale for the weekend. Will bring one back for a modest fee.

Yes … you can drive to Lea’s Monroe location instead.

Try Fireman Derek's pies. Much better.
