I bet it made your kid happy, didn't it? I bet it was a fairly simple way to make your kid happy, wasn't it? How much effort does it honestly take you to take your girl to one of these places and let the staff make her day? All you really have to do is supervise and open your wallet.

My kids liked that store, my older has grown out of it but my younger still wants to go now and then.
I don't know. I mean, yeah it's kid focused and all that, but my daughter's eyes and face light up every time she goes there, and I enjoy that. Maybe that makes me lame, seeing my kid happy.

Apparently i've struck a nerve with Team Build-a-bear. All I said is that it would be horrible to work there, maybe not as bad as dick cancer, lol, but it would suck. Didnt say my child didnt enjoy it. Relax....

Literally every thread on the first page is worse than a Build a Bear store. From cheating spouses, car there, and shaking hands with murderers, to a boot made from a block of wood......all worse than this.

I was there when my son was little.
They brought in a bus of like 20-25 terminally ill kids, and I stayed the whole time just to watch them be happy for a moment in time.
I can't think of a better day at work.
