Driving through Texas is much worse.

The "Super Speeder" scam though is as bad as it gets. They purposely mark you up only for you to go to court to have them "reduce" the ticket but still make you pay as if it was a SS.

Driving through Louisiana

This is from the last year

Louisiana is NOWHERE near having the worst roads.

Worst place to drive, upstate New York or west Texas.

You’ve never driven across west Texas or southern New Mexico have you?

Driving across Texas is pretty miserable. Kansas is super boring.

Correct answer when looking at San Antonio to El Paso. Seems like 8,000 miles.

Last year I joined the elite “super speeder” club in this awful state

That sucks. Happened to me 1 mile from the Alabama/Georgia border 2 years ago. It's not enough you have to pay a big fat ticket, you also have to pay the super speeder fine on top of it. Over $400 bucks.

Seems like driving through texas is. Especially from Louisiana to new mexico. Never ends.

My SO's father drove all the way from Oklahoma to Alaska once. That sounded miserable to me.

Lowndes, Dooley, and Turner counties are the worst in south Ga.. They set up daily on the overpasses. They will put 2 on the exit ramp and one on the bridge doing the radar. Soon as they clock you 10 mph over the radar cop notifies the ramp cop to get you. Then the ramp cop gets his rocks off by going 0-75 in 8 seconds to pull you over.

Another area that is bad is I-20 from Douglasville to Villa Rica exit. Especially a mile or two before and after the Post Rd exit. Every freaking day they are sitting in the wood line.

Kansas is easily my pick for most boring and worst cop speed traps.

DC is definitely worse.

But not for cops pulling you over, because in so many places there is no room to pull over anywhere. No, the cops let you go, it's the speed cameras that will get you. And the general traffic congestion that will frustrate you to no end. And God help you if you need to cross the Potomac and yet another 18 wheeler has overturned and is blocking half of a Beltway bridge (this has happened way too often lately).

Stopped at a small town in northwest Georgia to eat coming back from Tennessee. Only white people in this town and as a white person I felt very uncomfortable.

I drive from GA to TX all the time and see more cops running radar in MS and LA then GA or Alabama

That hardly seems to be my experience. Just on the 4th of July weekend alone,I still remember the cold sweat from watching someone get nailed by a state trooper on I-475 in Macon, a cop pulling someone over in Griffin, and a cop flashing their lights after running radar in Pelham. Nothing of that sort when driving in FL, AL, MS, or LA. Granted it was the holidays, but you’d think it would easily happen elsewhere at that time.
