I don’t gamble, but my go to Vegas move is to teach a newbie how to play craps. It’s the easiest way to separate the prey from the herd. With little investment you can create an experience. I have crazy stories about virgins hitting 35 passes. When the table is hot, it’s the best time you can have in a casino.

My wife rolled for over an hour once. After a while we noticed we were the only ones celebrating. Turns out the whole table was betting against her. We ended up winning over $7000 between the two of us. Good times.

It can be fun. I sometimes get aggravated at dealers/other players trying to "explain" true odds to me. I understand how the odds work but I also understand that a 1% house edge spread over 2 or 3 hours of play is negligible. It's substantial for the house because they're thinking in terms of hundreds of thousands of rolls. On a super long roll the odds would pay better but on medium long rolls you come out better skipping the odds and pressing the come. And never forget that the house's real edge has nothing to do with the possible ways to make a number. Their pockets are deeper than yours. True odds payouts don't soften that edge a bit.
