Nope, computers never were nor never will be a part of my life. I’m too old to even care about a computer now. If I can’t do it on my phone then I ain’t doing it.

With CoPilot, OpenAI, and other AI agents, no one should struggle with Excel, nor many other programs. It's like fricking magic...you tell the agent what you want to do and it spits out a formula. Incredible.

I’m glad there are guys like you that can get my commission right when I sell a deal that actually brings in revenue to the company.

What is a good tutorial on excel?
I know basics but I do feel like there is so much more to know.
Thanks

YouTube. Many will have links to download the template they are teaching from so you can work along.

Right, you didn’t understand the post. If a plumber calls another plumber because his toilet is leaking, is plumber A a dumbass?

No but they should have the basic skills. My role is to help with anything they may need that is outside of their ordinary line of business. Not all welders can underwater weld, but all welders should be able to tig weld

Pivot tables are tremendously helpful in analyzing data
They are but I’m a big fan of dashboards now. You can do some nice stuff with a simple table in excel and Power Bi.

LOL, Excel peaked in the 90’s. Anyone really tech savvy avoids excel. R, Python, Julia, Postgres are way better and easier once you’ve made the commitment to learn. So basically you’re an old fart complaining about even older farts.

I’m a national resource for Excel and another software we use called Alteryx, and there is nothing more frustrating and soul crushing than someone asking for help you have to watch them struggle to do things as simple as filter data or copy cells down.
I stopped reading at this point because your grammar is so bad. It’s so bad it’s soul crushing and frustrating to read.

That depends on what you are trying to accomplish

These are not useful in viewing data

When you are highly intelligent, it can be tough to interact with idiots and even the average Joe. Case in point is me. I don’t know what’s your issue.

Literally every single time you post something I walk away thinking you’re a bigger prick than before.
Here’s your “attaboy” for your Excel proficiencies. Now go Index/Match your arse off the keyboard for a while.

Love it. Zero training and my boss is like "Can you set-up a meeting to show us what you've learned?" Translation - what you have taught yourself.
