It’s not. I paid $800 a ticket to see the original run of Hamilton. Went to game 5 of the World Series in Wrigley.
Some people just get genuinely upset when they see another person put their time and money into things that make them happy. It’s an emotion more commonly seen from women, but message boards make bitches of us all so here we are 20 pages later.
Taylor Swift is simply one of the best in person entertainers of her generation, and people spend money to experience it.
