Texas baws are gonna hate this but Whataburger is slightly above average at best. I live about 2 miles from the one on seigen. I can buy the spicy ketchup by the bottle at Target

Housing in Metairie is either way too expensive for a young family or you living in a 50 year old house that hasn't been painted or had ANYTHING replaced in 50 years.

And/or living on a postage stamp size lot.

And just a short drive away for thugs looking for soft targets.

I moved away 27 years ago to the Northshore. NO Is as dysfunctional as it was 20 years ago...no change. Lots of charming places in NO but not worth the effort.

A friend of mine who lives uptown just got home and the water was shut off by the city. She called the sewage and water board and they told her it was a mistake but they couldn't turn it back on until tomorrow.
What a joke! Seriously does that happen in any other city besides New Orleans?

The old saying, Baton Rouge flush your toilets, New Orleans needs water used to make me laugh. Now it could flood the city. They voted for the politicians who are running the city in the ground. They get what the deserve.

This is what created the suburbs and also why metro areas are often 3 or 4x the city population
well when the suburbs are as big as dallas or Houston or Atlanta, etc and were created to be mostly housing, no shite they will have more people. The suburbs pack those houses in like sardines so people work in the city and live in the suburbs. Its literally the purpose of the suburbs to have a higher population than the city itself.
