Someone please explain why the hell in what way it’s good policy for the police to not release any damn video.
There is 100% chance that both the victim and the perps are on video.
This pisses me off so much that this is how our cities are now.

They caught a black guy using the debit card where the Greyhound bus station is, on surveillance, on Florida. That whole area is crack head central. The Convention St side is where multiple deadly shootings have happened in previous years.

Is it possible that while he was walking back to his hotel, he met a white prostitute who promised cocaine and a BJ? They went in between two buildings where she proceeded to give him cocaine and take off his pants to give him a BJ. She threw the pants onto the sidewalk during this time with his wallet. The cocaine ended up accidentally being fentanyl and he OD’d. She then calls her white pimp to throw the body into the Mississippi River.

Meanwhile, a random black man finds a discarded wallet on the sidewalk and thinks it’s his lucky day, so he goes to the ATM.

I highly doubt there’s any hookers hanging around 3rd st. It’s more plausible that he was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, and was met face-to-face with tPOS from NBR who were stalking him.

I don’t see the reason for no video to be shown. I’m sure they have plenty of it. I still don’t get why no vehicle has been brought up.. they have to have some info on a car rented by him.

No need to disparage a good man with bullshite speculation. Many innocent people are victims and do not deserve their fate. He had a job, a family, and planned to attend an LSU game while in town.

He probably made a mistake. Could have easily decided to walk back to his hotel and let his guard down without doing his homework about the shithole city he was sent to by his job.

Your post right there sums up how bad this city has become. I see no end in site. There are people just do not give a shite about anyone but themselves and were raised very poorly.

I'd think in that area at least some of them. That's the main bar district downtown and there are a few modern hotels etc around there.

One would think the ATM camera and others nearby would for sure work.
There has to be several others of businesses in the area that work

I really doubt that on his walk from Happy’s to his hotel he was abducted and then robbed and murdered. It’s a very short walk, well lit, etc. However on a weekday night there usually aren’t many people around that area. There is a cop station right there as well and whoever did it would have to be pretty ballsy to commit such a crime that close to it.

Have to think he was either really drunk and walked the wrong way, was trying to locate drugs, or met some “chick” online and was going to meet her, although I’d think if that was the case he would’ve got her to the hotel, but maybe got lured to another location. Drinking doesn’t typically lead to the best decisions.

It’s really unfortunate and the guy didn’t deserve to potentially die. I can’t imagine what his family is going through right now.
