Everyone after the WW2 generation (including mine) sucks the biggest balls. Every generation now seems to try and outsuck the previous one.

The "availability cascade" People hear so much about other generations they collectively get together and repeat what they've heard to reinforce their beliefs. It's existed forever and this thread is a good example of that kind of cognitive bias.
