Great looking plane, as is the SR22. You have good taste!

Then why post stock photos

NOT so subtle brag.
Nevertheless, if I were a pilot I’d be doing way more badass shenanigans than posting on my shitkickery on TD.

The photos are of the vision jet.

Why aren’t you flying right now?

Didn’t realize it’s a requirement to fly 24/7

What’s your tail number?

All the flyer forums banned you, so now you’ve come here to gloat?

I don’t post on those forums. It’s a bunch of 100 hour pilots who think they know everything. FlightChops is a perfect example that dude is a terrible pilot, but he’s lauded as great on those forums.

Ok boss, well I’d rather have a Stearman for general open cockpit thrills then my other ride would be a Beechcraft for the mundane.

I flew in a Stearman at Sun n Fun a couple of years ago. A good friend of mine has a bonanza. Those have a great value.

TD has a flyer forum?
Do I have to get Premium to join it?
I don't own a plane, but I seen one the other day. It was up in the sky (real high).

The Bonanza is sexier than the wanna be jet.
C’mon man.
C’mon man.

Yes the vision jet is $2MM compared to a TBM that’s a steal.
yes, the vision jet is nice, but i'm not a fan of it's cost-performance.
It's a long shot, but if it works, Raptor will cost $130,000 and do everything and more of a $750,000 SR22. IF it works (and that's a big IF), it will change general aviation big time.

I bought it from a family friend in an estate sale.
Just to be clear I bought an SR22T not the vision jet.
I got mine from Horizon Hobby

Cirrus has built a business on fear. They first made waves because of the chute. "Anybody can fly it, if you get in trouble, just pull the chute". They did that because it couldn't pass FAA tests for stall/spin recovery. Same thing with the jet. It has the chute AND now auto land.
Don't get me wrong, the cirrus is a great aircraft, and maybe it was good for the GA market to get more people into flying, but I would venture that a large percentage of cirrus owners wouldn't have gotten into flying if it weren't for the chute on that plane and its perceived safety.
I don't think you can buy even a base model vision jet for 2MM. It will probably be pouching 2.5MM by the time you addd everything to it that you see in the pics and that you would want. Sink that much into it and you are slower than a TBM on more fuel and you are by far the slowest jet in the sky.
For the money, buy a 90's citation II and fly so much faster and carry twice the passengers.
As for the OP and his SR22 - Average going rate for a 2011 sr22T is.......wait for it.......approximately $350K.
Not completely out of reach, especially not for the OT crowd, but who owns a plane and doesn't immediately have 50 pics available to post? I own a tiny experimental homebuilt and I could post way more than that in short order.
