Is there a dump site/landfill in the St. Gabriel or Gonzales area?

I have a lot of stuff I want to get rid of out the house and I live in the St. Gabriel area and I wanted to know is there a dump site/ landfill in the area to take all the stuff I’m trying to get rid of out the house? Also, is there a fee or an amount to pay to go there? I know I can rent a dumpster and pay $400 but I rather do it myself and save that money.

No, but if you cruise on down Hwy 30, you’ll come out by Tanger. Just get on the interstate eastbound, go 2 exits down and you’re practically by the dump already.

This is the OT, where everybody is a baller. If they don't own their own million-dollar waste management company then they just move to a new furnished mcmansion every time they get tired of their stuff.

At the very least they hire someone to pick up the heavy things for them and take them away

Before you just go to the landfill, call ahead and make sure they'll accept your stuff. Some of them have residency requirements and they won't take garbage unless you can prove you live in one of the areas they are contracted to service.
