This is the only thing I could find with road construction, but it just list the current projects.

Yea...I was looking at that too. I can't find a damn thing on the pecue @ I-10 entrance/exit and expansion.

I agree with this, but what I really think it is, is Chem Plant expansion on the West side. Shintech, SNF, Criterion, some big tank farm, Louis-Dryfous, and those big white tits in the port, all were not there 10 years ago. There are few places left to build on the East.

That's true. Dow built 2 new warehouses and had other work going on within the past 5 years so the dow traffic has been worse than usual.

They're making decent progress on 42...it's going to be a whole lot better around this time next year when it's close to being complete. 73 should also be a little better once the I10 expansion down to the Prairieville exit is finished. The main reason that's so bad every morning is most of the folks going south on 73 are getting on I10W, so the on ramp backs everything up.

When is this scheduled to start?
It's already started, they have cleared the land and are mostly working on drainage/underground work from what I can see

The land was cleared a few years ago. I saw a little movement a few months ago where it looked like they were maybe relocating a sewer line along pecou. Haven't seen anything since.

I live right there so pass by a few times a day. It's not a lot of activity but people are still out there doing something. I know they had surveyors out there last week. It seems a lot of the work right now is at the very end of the field where it hits I-10 on the airline side so it's hard to see from the road. Also seen some equipment moving dirt back towards Top Golf
They have to move all the utilities back from Pecue before doing anything so there's sporadic work up and down the road
I'm sure it will take a few years to get close to complete but it's progress

Ahhh ok...glad to hear dirt is being moved. I live right there as well in Keningston Estates. Do you know whats being built on the corner of perkins and picou?
Posted on 5/29/19 at 1:03 pm to sec13rowBBseat28
I'm right across Perkins from you.
I'm not sure though, it looks to be just an office park or something. It's a ways back from Perkins which I thought was strange

Strange indeed, with the house still RIGHT next to it.

Ascension Tiger—-we take the same path in the afternoons looks like. I leave Port Allen at 5 and don’t get home till 6:10-6:20. The traffic through BR isn’t the problem. If I get to about 2 miles before the Highland exit without stopping, I’m lucky

Be better once St George is approved and a loop is cut south through No Man's Land (formerly Gadere) to a new bridge that connects to the new 49 spur.
While I'm dreaming, can I get circa 1989 Kathy Ireland too?

It is getting worse because people are getting dumber. More people on phones and more people weaving in and ot like total morons.
