Is the "Strong" movement past its prime?

It all started with that "Live Strong" thing like a decade ago. Now everything is Strong-this and Strong-that. I now see Baton Rouge is something like "Tiger-proud / Carolina-strong."
I dunno, is it time to move on to a new catch phrase?
Oh, and THANKS Lance!

I didnt know "Livestrong" had spread into other sayings. I havent heard any [ ]-strong sayings in a long time, so Im not sure if its as prevalent overal as it seems to you.

After the marathon bombing, people up there were saying Boston Strong. Is this part of what the OP is talking about?

-strong is the media's way to denote tragedy. Just like -gate is the way to denote scandal. At least -strong makes sense; calling every scandal -gate makes Watergate seem like it was about water.

No kidding! I cringe everytime I see that. Pretty sure it's just the younguns thinking it sounds "cool". They'll grow out of it soon.
