No, if you're being hospitalized, its likely you are catching the original corona from our illegals friends just crossing the border, and being dumped in your city. These didn't come in contact with Delta prior to be released into your area.

So how the frick did this one just magically mutate in this delta variant? It doesn’t seem as deadly right now but it’s causing hospitalizations. Feels like this will never end.

22k estimated deaths last year vs an avg of 36k over the last 10 seasons. It was the third lowest death rate in those 10 seasons. Slightly above average in estimated cases.
