As someone who’s dealt with parts for both, they have differences and the trannies were completely different on the v-8’s when introduced. I also believe the 5.7 on the Jeep has different heads and water pump.
But, they aren’t even close to a Jeep in design.

I think my wife's new Volvo is sexier than the F Pace. I don't like the race inspired SUVs, classy/sexy is better for the chick drivers anyway.

The poster said the Durango was “a rebadged Jeep”
They look nothing alike. Frame is unique, body is unique and not even similar, interior was unique and many other elements are unique

We didn't spring for all of the nuts-o safety features, but the iPilot would no doubt be neat. Wish I knew what the air suspension was like as well. It's a nice rig though.

F-Pace is nice but interior is lack-luster and MSRP is too high...same with the Maserati Levante. In the midsize/compact luxury SUV segment, the Audi Q5 is the best value overall and if budget is no issue, the Porsche Macan is the undisputed best.
