Let the kids have fun in the bar in the shade. We'll promis to keep it down so you can concentrate on your paperback novels.

That would be marvelous. Thank you Paw.

The B&A owner wants to open the private beaches to his county commissioner buddies. Living here, I can tell you he is not highly thought of.
I'm not sure what you mean here

I'm fairly certain the beach right behind B&As is public

I guess you're an owner on the beach against customary use?

Either way it doesn't have much to do with the CC

I’m partial to Kevin’s Irish Pub bc that dude is a cool mofo with a great bar.
I did a set there with the House chick there about a decade ago.

From 25 feet away she looked OK.

Right up beside her and then sharing a microphone with her was tremulous.

Good times, a little fear is a wonderful short-term motivation.

La Vela sucks in the summer. Nobody goes to PC in summer. I went last June to pick up my new boat I bought down there and went to La Vela and it sucked arse. Nobody there. Now Spring Break you can't beat it.

FloraBama gets crowds almost year round and almost always has live music. Consistently it's better

Yes - I have been an owner a very long time. And have paid the taxes for all the land on my deed. AND the liability insurance that goes with that ownership. No complaint on that, but no one is for having strangers bring all of their gear and set it up outside of our windows.

The B&A owner wants access for everyone to go anywhere they please. Which is somewhat confusing because there is not really an issue of access for the public to be on the beach. The end game seems to be "access" for business growth that will benefit the county. And the commissioners want that access to allow business use. Mostly from the Defuniak Springs population.

Most of the beach in Seaside, behind the B&A restaurant, is private, with very limited access points for the public beach areas.

The Customary Use issue, which goes away this Sunday, also affects the bayfront owners and folks that have property on other waterways. Not limited to just the beachfront.

Red Bar is a great spot along with the new AJ's. You gotta love Grayton and Watercolor.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by access for business growth. Like vendors on the beach? I don't see how he could possibly think that people's beachfront property could be used for anything like that.

I know Dave and I know he's passionate about the area and the beach. I'm sure it's sometimes misguided. He's a pretty good dude, though.

I remember going to the FloraBama back in 1994 when it was just a bar.

I sometimes like things on the trashy side and haven't been to Florida much so I'll do the Western gulf.

A couple aren't right on the gulf but close enough. I've had fun at each one even thou they have much smaller crowds.

I fully admit these are trashy but I just told you thats what I like sometimes.
