Nope, unfortunately we didn't just say the earth was flat when you were in Kindergarten and leave it at that. You have to actually read books, listen to pilots, most of all do tests yourself if you want the truth. But then a bunch of people will call you retarded and shite for asking others to do the same. It's still worth it, the truth is beautiful

This has become a major problem in our society. Goes right along with the "do your own research" crowd. People who have absolutely zero training in these fields think they're qualified to perform the same research and understand complex science at the same level as people who studied their field for a decade plus. The internet was supposed to make us smarter, instead it gave the loudest microphones to the village idiots.
