Are you in Sonoma?
Yep...in Healdsburg actually. The commute to work this morning was pretty bad (for here anyway). Not a gully washer by Louisiana standards but alot of rain for around here. Not as much water is running off into the creeks and such since the ground is soaking up so much.

BTW - any good meals in the metropolis of Healdsburg?

We had a tornado warning here in SD last week. That was kind of cool, reminded me of living in BR as a youngin.

These don't bother anyone. Really, they mostly have a live and let live attitude which the South sorely lacks.

People who complain about BR traffic really need to go to cali.

Yes but there's also 20X the amount of people. BR is frustrating Bc it's a small city that does not even try a little to alleviate the traffic.

I see I have a lot of work to do to overcome previous posts of mine, I really don't want to be thought of as a bitch.

BR gets shite on enough. I usually don't like to bash where people choose to live. Roger loves the northwest...doesn't mean everyone will...nurse loves the southwest doesn't mean everyone will. Some people probably love Kansas. I personally prefer to live close to family and the gulf. I know what sucks about La but I also have plenty of reasons to love it. There is no perfect place to live. I just don't get why people want to shite on where other people live...why not just be positive about where you live instead of acting like you are better than everyone for not living in that god forsaken place.

Uhh.. You just posted this in this thread:

I have been. The people sucked...food was mediocre at best. Weather was nice and the scenery was nice. Its full of liberal hippies...state was near bankrupt a few years ago. Have droughts, earthquakes, wild fires, and energy shortages. People who complain about BR traffic really need to go to cali. Oh and don't think for one second that since its california it isn't full of redneck white trash. I just think it is over rated. And the Pacific is cold as frick.

Cali deserves every bit of the drought they get. Dumbest state we have by far. Those idiots were running out of water but decided to invest hundreds of millions in this scheme to buy old cars from people and issue credits for hybrids and such. Not buying water or enhancing infrastructure to preserve water, but to buy old cars and give credits for cars that people don't want to buy.

Idiots.

Scope, Chalkboard, Valette and Baci. Some good cheese from Big Johns Grocery Store-will be nice when they finish the remodel. Few Racer5's at Dry Creek General Store. Cool place. Great meals and of course great wine.

Friend owns a house up the hill from DaVero. Not sure the name of the road. We use it whenever we can. Love the place.

Lucky SOB. That sounds like West Dry Creek or Mill Creek Rd.

Valette, Scopa and Chalkboard are truly awesome....haven't been to Baci yet. I hope you got the pork belly biscuits while you were at Chalkboard.

California hate

Beautiful state overrun with weak-minded liberals.

Huge business taxation, which is why businesses continue to flee, which raises taxes on the public sector.

Another genius move by liberals...

We did and they were great. We ordered every small plate at all of them. Scopa sold me a jar of those Lupini beans. Met the two brothers at Valette and their dad. He must be an investor-flies a fire tanker based I think Santa Rosa? Great guy. Had some great pastas at them. I'll be back in a few months.

And the liberals don't bother me so I don't get the complaints.

Oh had an In and Out for the first time. Pretty good. Animal style.
