Not reading all of this, but it's definitely "the Bywater" and not "Bywater."

The funny thing is, it's a pretty recent descriptor of the area regardless. 25-30 years ago, nobody was calling that part of town any iteration of that term.

Not sure when the change from upper nine happened, but I'd peg it longer than 30 years.

In the 40's it became known as Bywater
