Same. My wife and I have hosted one for 4 years now the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It’s fun, plus a lot of us work in booze so we bring good bottles of wine and whiskey.

Millenials are why we can't have nice things.

Trashy.

liberals dont like this country so they dont want to celebrate this country or anything related to its founding or its greatness.

liberals control the media so they want no messages about pride in america or anything remotely linked to it

What happened?

The War on Drugs ripped apart the fabric of American family life, resulting in fewer Thanksgiving commercials.

And every other commercial is a bunch of inter-racial figs marrying canines because of the liberal media.

Not at my house. Been getting limber and ready to chow down about 3500 calories in one meal.

considering most professions other than teachers have to work the day before and after, its kind of a shite holiday for most people

I can't really remember their being Thanksgiving commercials. Unless it was about a parade, football, or Charlie Brown.

It is honestly probably my favorite holiday.

There is no stress involved. You go to whoever is hosting it in any given year. The person who is hosting it is responsible for the Turkey, other people bring whatever they usually bring. You talk for a few minutes, eat lunch, watch football. Some people leave for the camp right after and it's just much more relaxing.

I cant imagine you have much to offer.....even if you said you were going to bring something you would probably just flake out like you do on your bets...

have big dinners, invite relatives, friends or anyone who wanted to get-together and we all had a good time.

We still do this.

You need a place to go for the holidays this year?

I use to bring something, but then someone was going around telling everyone I really wasn't bringing anything so I figured, if they assumed I wasn't bringing anything... There is no point in doing so.
