Pretty sure my sugar comes from a plant too.

Well if that’s the only criteria, so are seed oils

My point is if one uses sugar instead of Stevia because it is made in a lab, well sugar is made in a plant from a plant and stevia is likewise. None are made in a lab and both are manufactured. It's better than aspartame and saccharine and whatever else has been cooked up to fool us.

If you are not diabetic, I would focus on cutting down on real sugar or use honey.

Great sugar alternative. Stevia is garbage.

If the answer is "drink it black", I'm out. I'd rather just quit drinking coffee.

If the coffee is just a delivery system for caffeine then just take caffeine pills.

No, I really enjoy the taste of hot, dark sweet coffee.

My DIL warned me off Splenda. But Splenda also makes a Stevia substitute that I use. And. I see Splenda also makes a Monkfruit substitute that I just ordered on Amazon. I'll give it a try. I'm open to any good substitute. I'm not going to use sugar.

My wife was on some diet about 10 years back. For some reason it was all the rage with the crash doet crowd back then. Not sure why as it has been around since the 70s.

Anyway, I tried it and it tastes absolutely horrible. I decided right then that I would just moderate my real sugar intake and I've done fine.

dont mess with any replacement. if you think the original is bad, just imagine how worse off the replacement is.

cigs= horrible, so lets bring out vapes, which will bring in younger people , and is 1000x worse than cigs.

Just under 4% at my last yearly physical/blood tests I have to do for insurance to be cheaper. That was back in like February so it could have changed, but I don't eat lots of sugar or carbs.

I am 5'11" and weigh between 160 and 165 lbs. No family history of diabetes. We do have a pretty lengthy family history of heart disease so I've really stayed on top of my health once I turned 35 or so.

Yes

ETA: Black coffee with about a quarter cup of oatmilk and 1-2 stevia packets is my go to. Comes out to about 15 calories
