It came up in conversation a few days ago, while discussing things with a group of people.
When pointing out that it showed that the person who was being called a Boomer was someone who has obviously grown up and joined the real world, they *really* didn't like it.

Seems like it should be worn like a badge of honor. I'm not old enough to be in that demographic but I don't mind if it's said to me. It's just coded jealousy.

The problem with this phrase as I have seen it used, is that they are applying it to Gen Xrs. Most of the memes I see show a guy about 45-50 or so. I think they need to understand what the term Baby Boomer means. As in, people born shortly after WWII ended. So like 70+ today.

Boomer is not just an age, it's a mindset.
Also baby boomers we still being shot out of birth canals nearly 20 years after the war ended.
