milk is a scam. The peanut gallery is far far far too brainwashed to even think for a second.

Human breast milk -- repulsive.
Disgusting filthy animal's breast milk - delicious.

COWS don't even drink milk. Cows drink.... WATER.

You think you need milk, because cows are the biggest business in the WORLD. Entire planet. The FDA has been bought and paid for by the Diary and Cattle industry....... take another look at that food pyramid. Is that what is best for you or more PROFITABLE for the corporations?

You hear protein -- you think meat. You hear calcium -- you think milk. Hmm, any connection?

Breast milk is super dense, hyper concentrated GROWTH formula. It is for infants to development. Why do you think you ARE ALL A BUNCH OF FAT frickERS??????

PS.
Milk is actually terrible for your body. It causes "acidification" , which actually forces you to LOSE calcium. Look it up.... or not..

this post just used up all the fricks I had to give.

It's sad that nutrition debate is becoming more and more like political debate.

This thread reads like a Poliboard Cavanaugh thread.

The truth is dairy products are perfectly healthy for most people (those who can't handle Lactose should stay away).

Full fat dairy definitely has more nutritional benefit than skim as the vitamins and minerals therewithin are more readily absorbed and the sugar content is lower.

Bioavailability matters. To get as much calcium as one cup of milk you'd have to eat something like 12-15 cups of raw spinach.

Milk also has a very bioavailable form of protein, Vitamin A & K2 and contains butyrate, phytanic acid, trans palmitoleic acid (all helpful to humans).

Should dairy be the basis of your diet? No. But it's fine to include it in a well-balanced one.

People need to stop acting like one way of eating is best for everyone. We all have different genes.

I'm not reading this whole thread, but have to ask the OP if he also thinks toilet paper is a scam. I mean do monkeys wipe their asses after taking a shite? NO, they just go on about their days.

When I was growing up, I saw several adult cats that would beg to differ on both counts (no cats in my life now, as intended by God), pigs who would drink/eat rotten cows milk, and bulls who would drink milk directly from a cow, not their mother, if given the opportunity.

Animals stop drinking milk because their mothers force them to stop. It is part of ending their dependence on the parent and it allows the mother to fully recover from raising young to prepare her body for more. Lets not get all sciency up in here and act like animals quit drinking milk because it is repulsive.

The toilet paper industry isn’t feeding you a line of BS about the health benefits of their product.

Most people like milk. None of them need it.

I don't think anyone is saying people NEED milk.

But it's certainly not harmful for the vast majority of people if consumed moderately...and it does have benefits.
