You're getting a lot of shite, but I feel somewhat similar other than the getting along with women part.
As a man, I see very little benefit for me getting married other than kids and "stability". Women get the better end of the deal for sure.
Lose half my money and lose my kids (future) except for weekends? No fricking thanks.
That said, I had much rather spend an evening with a smart, beautiful woman than a dude any day of the week.

Doesn't describe my marriage at all. If you marry the right one it's great. Never understood why guys get married to girls that make them miserable. Makes no sense
