No. They sensationalize everything on tv. For the most part, we are just a bunch of regular people.

Subtle brag. My side of the tracks can't afford three piece suits only seersuckers.

What does Tiger Woods have to do with that picture of our Governor?

Well I live in Alabama and all the people I have met from Louisiana have all been heavy drinkers who cook some fantastic food.

I have never met one who hunted alligators, caught crawfish or were underwater loggers...

My uncle used to be an underwater logger. He'd use them for carvings, but now the he's older one of his buddies' kids does it. That's how we got all cypress cabinets for my brother's house.

One of our local state legislators (and old family friends) goes gator hunting on occassion. He caught one behind our house that he put into a sauce picquet and served to us at a fundraiser.

One of my mom's best friends goes frogging, crabbing, and crawfishing all the time out in the spillway. A lot of my friends in high school would do that on the weekends.

That's a NOLA thing. One of my great uncles had one. I was disappointed I missed it.
