re: Is it worth it to ‘organize your shop’ after having used it for awhile?

I've reorganized twice.
I set it up how I thought I liked it.
Reorganized main equipment after I had used it a while.
And finally, put my tools where I need them/use them.
Probably good now unless I change what I do.

My shop is always organized so I can give clear instructions if I quickly need a tool as to where it is. It is far quicker to tell someone the exact location it will be in than to try and explain to someone what the item looks like.

Read this in 9th grade. Prolly need to reread - but I always use a cut up beer can for a shim for metal on metal, ever since.

my shop looks like hell right now since everything is crammed into a tiny building I bought to keep my stuff out of the rain until I build a real shop. My old shop got destroyed with my house during a tornado a few years ago. I'm still rebuilding so much crap. I feel like I'll never get my stuff back in order. SOOO many projects.

Same here. One of the GOAT beer, kids out of your hair, vibe out chores. I do it every weekend if I could get away with it

I live in a perpetual start a project, start not being able to find things, clean/organize, start back working on the project. It is never ending, and it also never fails that friends come to hang out or get me to work on something for them when I’m right in the middle of the not being able to find things phase.

I can’t find shite after I “organize”.

That seems like a strange selection for ninth grade. For what class was this?
