No Facebook, Instagram etc., but I do have a Twitter account that I use as a news feed, sports feed, entertainment feed.......

Maybe a burner Facebook account but most people use their real names on traditional social media in order to connect with friends etc. If a potential employer googles my name it's not going to return posts from fallguy on TD. That's the difference to me.

I'm guessing most people in your age range have some type of social media account, by definition, it's "weird" that you don't have one.

I need a burner Twitter account in order to wade into some of the social issues that interest me, but my need to argue and be right is outweighed by my laziness to create a new account.

I wouldn’t necessarily call it weird, especially if you are of an older generation, but no social media presence whatsoever in this day and age is a little unusual. On the surface it would make one seem either tech illiterate or withdrawn.
