Any woman I see that is wearing a dress gets a compliment from me. I wish women wore dresses more.

I bet you've said the phrase "people get offended by anything these days".

Ironic isn't it?

It’s all yoga pants or sweat pants on young women these days. And typically it’s not the people that need to be wearing either one wearing them.

And then airlines decided they didn't give a shite about passengers or their comfort. And passengers responded accordingly.

Expecting American adults to be clean and respectfully dressed when out in public is a pretty low bar.

I usually assume they don't shower often either.

Well, their self awareness is in question already.

I’m sick and tired of seeing these ‘kids’ mellineals in the airport wearing their PJs, bed head, and unshaven. You’re a 30 year old man! Act like it.

I kind of want to agree with you, but when you basically have to get undressed to go through security (which is 100% nonsense), then I'm more inclined to live and let live or even emulate them with a dress down for the plane attitude.

This is why I shop at Fresh Market
i find myself shopping here and whole food more and more often. It’s worth the extra money to be around civilized people, especially at the end of a long day at work.

Taking off your belt buckle is not getting undressed.

Companies make traveler pants just for these types of activities.

I dress to get through security easy in the airport, but that still is black slacks polo shirt and slip on dress shoes.

not if you get TSA precheck, I keep my shoes on, belt on, even a light jacket on, go through the metal detector, not the invasive body scanner.

AGREED! You don't have to be in a suit (men) or cocktail dress (ladies) but at least put on something that indicates you're a grown up, not the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" PJ's I saw on my flight this morning...

HOWEVER! What's worse...the freaking child (20's-30's) who wouldn't shut up for an entire 1 1/2 hours about how awesome he is at work, and how "extra" his leadership style is....have some respect for those trying to get some sleep on the flight?

I know...shut up boomer?

The children can get off my lawn and stop degrading society...

Honestly, I rarely notice what people are wearing and if I do I don't give a frick. There is nothing I can do about it, I only care about what I look like.

I'd take people underdressing and a plane with no smoking than everyone dressed up and smoking, but dress code do tend to impact behavior so it probably wouldn't be the worst idea if they had some minimal type dress code.
