Yes, where is your allegiance to your company that sent you home?

How would it be selfish? Give proper notice, don’t burn any bridges, and move on/up.

It is lateral at best but work life good uptick

My job cut pay for covid so this job is extremely competitive. Think company is healthier

I really like my boss and I am being developed. I just burnt out on the hours and the across the board cut isn't getting it

We've had a number of people do it while we were all remote. Don't worry about it.

I feel like it was a challenge you can't do better or get another job

In some ways challenge accepted

They did a few weeks furlough or equivalent pay cut

I was force paycut no time off

Why exactly would you feel guilty about changing jobs if it has a potential positive outcome on your life? Do you consider other people in YOUR life choices, not your family? You do what's best for you.

I think it could be best for family

How to evaluate job risk but more time home is good

Guilt
I would like to tell boss this isn't working because if I negotiate job in hand think there is no coming back from that

Then don't even debate it. They'd lay you off to save a tad on the bottom line with zero notice. Look out for yourself and your family. It's unfortunate that's how the job market is now but it doesn't make it less true.
