I recently got a new doctor after my old one retired. Before, I had to come every 6 months. I'm literally in the office no more than 3 minutes before I'm sent on my way. This has to strictly be about making money.

If you don't like it, get your amphetamines from a skinny biker in Livingston Parish like normal people.

I'd come every week if I didn't have a copay. I just think it's a waste of money to pay $80 for 3 minutes. I could spend $80 for 3 minutes in better ways. See Robert Kraft.

You sound like a loser, blaming the doc for something you choose to do.

MS just recently updated their rules requiring piss tests at least once every 3 months I believe and now Docs can't write for 6 month worth of benzos ( xanax/ Klonipin) anymore, it's limited to a 3 month supply only.

They're really trying to cut down on this opioid crisis which they absolutely should

It's a good option for kids who maybe haven't started on Addy or Ritalin but form the sound of it, your wife won't experience the same effects like she's used to from the Adderall so she probably won't like it.

I could be wrong but at least she's quit the meth

My stepdaughter fried her brain on that crap. Her mom and I found out she was taking up to 8 of those pills a day.

She wound up in a psych unit for observation and going on 5 years now and she's still not right. Went from a very good student in grade school, high school and into college her first 2 years and now she is basically a low level functioning person with no great outlook for a future.

The people in the psych unit told my wife and I that they see this too often with young people who take that crap who don't need it, and take it in excess. They basically fry their brains and it's a crapshoot as to who recovers and who doesn't. So far, she's in the "who doesn't" category.

So do I and thousands of other people - no excuse to take amphetamines.

People who take adderall are weak-minded and lack self-discipline.

This is very true, I see it several times a week. It is very sad to see previously high functioning people come in with drug induced psychosis and many never recover from it. This happens with amphetamines and synthetic MJ
