We do it all the time. Usually have 4 tender dinners and instead of asking for 10 sauces we just buy the tub for the whole family to use.

For work sometimes I'll go pick up Chic fil a for about. 50 people and they will give me 'tubs' of sauce, so the answer is yes. I'll get a couple platters of their sliced fruit as well which is on point and maybe something yoh should be looking for instead from the sounds of it.
